In the past two days, the club conducted a thorough review of his position. According to The Telegraph, they have reached a consensus to terminate his contract prematurely, concluding his tenure after just one season at Stamford Bridge.

Pochettino engaged in discussions with co-sporting directors Paul Winstanley and Laurence Stewart, as well as co-controlling owner Behdad Eghbali, on both Monday and Tuesday. Ultimately, it was agreed on Tuesday morning that Pochettino would depart the club.

There are no reports of animosity between the former Tottenham manager and Chelsea’s decision-makers. Rather, all parties felt it was the appropriate time to part ways, and Chelsea’s hierarchy will now initiate the search for a replacement.
