When recently questioned about Reus’ potential transfer to Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr, Hebel, Reus’ principal agent, responded: “It is absolutely reasonable that other clubs are interested in a player like Marco, whose contract expires in six months.
“Marco has consistently emphasized how much he loves BVB and how much he also wants to keep playing football.
“So it only seems sense that we would need to consider other choices.”
Reus has previously been connected to United, particularly while Louis van Gaal was in charge.
In remarks made in January 2016 following his departure, Van Gaal included the German while talking about players he admired.
