Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has approved Hannibal Mejbri’s move to Burnley.
Mejbri is set to join the recently relegated club on a loan deal that includes an obligation to buy. The Tunisian international has been deemed surplus to requirements by Ten Hag.
The midfielder joined Manchester United from Monaco in 2019 in a deal potentially worth £9 million. He has made 13 first-team appearances for the Red Devils, breaking into the senior squad under Ralf Rangnick.

Hannibal spent the 2022-23 season on loan at Birmingham City, and later moved to Spanish side Sevilla for the second half of the campaign.
The 21-year-old gained attention in 2022 when he was involved in a training ground scuffle. Following a 4-0 defeat to Brighton, then-head coach Ralf Rangnick was forced to end a training session early after an altercation reportedly broke out between Mejbri and teammate Alex Telles.
