A recent report suggests that Manchester United is set to entertain offers for Antony during the upcoming summer transfer window. Since his £82 million move from Ajax to Old Trafford in the summer of 2022, Antony has struggled to win over the support of Manchester United fans.

While his debut campaign showed glimpses of promise, including a notable winner against Barcelona in the Europa League, Antony’s performance has not progressed this season, with no goals or assists in 20 Premier League appearances. Off the field, the Brazilian player has also faced criticism in the midst of investigations in Manchester and Sao Paulo related to an alleged assault on an ex-girlfriend.

In line with INEOS’s plans to aggressively sell players to address concerns about meeting the Premier League’s Profit & Sustainability Rules, Manchester United is anticipated to consider offers for Antony this summer, as reported by the Manchester Evening News.

Other players on the potential departure list include loaned-out individuals Jadon Sancho, Donny van de Beek, and Hannibal Mejbri, while Anthony Martial and Tom Heaton are expected to leave when their contracts expire. Casemiro has attracted interest from the Saudi Pro League, with Al Ittihad and Al Nassr reportedly preparing offers for out-of-contract Raphael Varane.

The MEN’s report also identifies Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Victor Lindelof, and Facundo Pellistri as potential assets available for sale due to their contracts expiring in 2025. Manchester United appears unlikely to exercise the purchase clause in their loan agreement with Fiorentina for Sofyan Amrabat, who will return to Florence at the end of the season.

Marcus Rashford’s future is uncertain following a dip in form this season, and he is reportedly on PSG’s shortlist as a potential replacement for Kylian Mbappe. Additionally, Sir Jim Ratcliffe has indicated that the club will reassess Mason Greenwood’s situation following his loan spell at Getafe. Manchester United aims to offload at least ten players during the summer transfer window.
