Manchester United begins negotiations with Sporting CP for Gyokeres.

Manchester United are reportedly in discussions to sign Viktor Gyokeres in the summer.

The Red Devils are keen to secure the Swedish forward for new manager Ruben Amorim.

United are confident that Amorim, who previously managed Gyokeres at Sporting CP, can help bring out the best in him.

According to Sky’s Florian Plettenberg, talks are already underway between United and Sporting.

Both parties are optimistic about reaching an agreement for a summer transfer.

While United are eager to bring Gyokeres in during the winter window, Sporting are not open to a mid-season move.
