Manchester United forward Charlie McNeill has confirmed his departure from Erik ten Hag’s squad following the expiration of his contract.

In a heartfelt statement posted on his Instagram account on Friday, McNeill wrote, “My time has now come to an end at Manchester United and I would just like to say thank you.”

McNeill was a prolific goalscorer throughout various youth levels at Manchester United. He notably won the FA Youth Cup in 2022 alongside Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo.
Manager Erik ten Hag gave McNeill his senior debut in September of that same year.
