Injury Update

Diogo Jota sustained a calf injury in the closing moments of The Reds’ 1-0 victory over Manchester City, which will keep him out for an extended period of time and prevent him from competing for Portugal at the World Cup in Qatar. This season, The Reds have struggled with injuries. The condition of Curtis Jones, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Naby Keita, Ibrahima Konate, Joel Matip, Luis Diaz, and Calvin Ramsay has been updated by Liverpool manager Klopp.

Konate has not yet participated in team training, whereas Keita has, so everything is a little different. Joel is still some distance away, Chamberlain is getting closer to returning to play, and Luis Diaz is not even close to joining the team for practice. Calvin Ramsay is fully back in team training and hopefully will be ready to play U21s this weekend. Curtis Jones was on the bench but needs more practice before he is fully ready.

Kurt Zouma and Craig Dawson, who both missed the weekend draw against Southampton, will need to be evaluated by West Ham for fitness prior to their trip to Anfield.
