Some’shippers’ were concerned, though, that Emmanuel wasn’t giving the relationship the same kind of energy as Liquorose. Along the way, housemates including Saskay, Angel, and JMK accused Emmanuel of being a ‘playboy’ for reportedly flirting with them while in the home with Liquorose.
When they got out of the house, they still had a ‘thing’ going on, until things took a turn for the worst. The distance between them was exacerbated when Emmanuel failed to show up for Liquorose’s birthday celebration, which was attended by other housemates, including his friend Saga.

“Honestly, I can’t precisely pin point, I just felt like we were drifting away,” Emmanuel remarked when Ebuka asked why they drifted apart outside the house. He went on to say that Liquorose had complained several times that he had done things that she didn’t like and that she didn’t like how they reacted to it.
“It happened once or twice, and I was like, ‘OK, I don’t like what’s going on between us,'” she says. If I’m doing things that I know aren’t going to injure you, yet they’re making you feel bad. Then I’d back off and let you focus on what you want to do, since she’s incredibly talented and dedicated.” – he stated.
Emmanuel claimed that he tried to contact Liquorose after that, but she did not return his calls. Liquorose also complained about going on a date with Saskay, which he said wasn’t truly a date, according to him. As a result, they drifted apart, and he skipped her birthday celebration.
Liquorose stated that Emmanuel’s excuse for their growing apart was untrue. She claimed she stepped into his hotel in Dubai and saw Emmanuel with another girl. It happened the night they didn’t sleep in the same room, according to Liquorose.
