Yassine Chueko, Lionel Messi’s personal bodyguard, has been prohibited from accessing the field during the second leg of the CONCACAF Champions Cup quarter-final clash between Inter Miami and Monterrey.
However, he will still have permission to enter the locker room and mixed area, as reported by The Mirror.
This ban stems from an incident following the first leg in Miami on April 3, where Monterrey secured a 2-1 away victory, gaining an advantage in the race for a semi-final berth.

Following the match, Lionel Messi, sidelined due to injury, was involved in a confrontation with Monterrey’s manager, Fernando Ortiz, and assistant coach Nico Sanchez.
The altercation was sparked by Ortiz’s pre-game remarks, insinuating biased officiating in favor of Miami.
According to The Mirror, Sanchez referred to Messi as a “possessed dwarf, who has the face of the devil.”
Chueko, responsible for Messi’s security as well as that of his family, was reportedly involved in the altercation, leading to his ban from entering the playing field.
Despite this, Messi is expected to feature for Inter Miami in the crucial match against Monterrey.
