Yesterday in a terrible turn of events, the family of famed Nigerian musician Davido and his future bride Chioma Rowland lost their three-year-old kid, Ifeanyi Adeleke.

Ifeanyi Adeleke drowned at his home in the Banana Island region of Lagos State, Nigeria, according to a report published on Tuesday by Punch and other respectable media outlets.

Ifeanyi was taken to a hospital in the Lekki district of Lagos State in an effort to revive the three-year-old, but the staff there confirmed that the child had died.

Davido, Chioma, or the Adelekes have not yet issued a formal statement regarding the terrible event. But as the rumours have spread, various well-known figures in the entertainment sector and elsewhere have expressed their sympathies to the victim’s family.

Ayo Makun, commonly known as AY, is a well-known comedian. On Tuesday, he posted the following on Instagram: “The death of a child is unnatural, unfair, and heartbreaking. This really got to me.
