Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has shared his thoughts on why his team suffered a 2-1 defeat to Las Palmas in La Liga on Saturday.

The German tactician voiced concerns over his side’s recent struggles following the surprising home loss, which extended their winless run in the league to three matches.

Las Palmas opened the scoring in the 49th minute through Sandro Ramirez, but Barcelona equalized 12 minutes later thanks to Raphinha. However, just six minutes after leveling the game, Barça were undone by a decisive strike from Portuguese forward Fabio Silva.

The defeat marks a worrying period for Barcelona, who started strongly under Flick but have faltered in recent weeks. If Real Madrid win their next match on Sunday, they will cut Barça’s lead at the top of the La Liga table to just one point.

Speaking to reporters after the game, Flick gave an honest assessment of his team’s current form:

“When we control games, we can play well and create chances. When we don’t, we have a problem. Before, it was easy to create chances and score goals, but now it’s not like that.”
