With his visually impaired wife Abidemi, Olamilekan Sanyaolu, the father of 14-year-old Mubarak who was slain on November 4, 2021, at the Command bus-stop in the Meiran area of Lagos State, has welcomed a set of twins.
PUNCH Online discovered that Abidemi gave birth to the babies on Tuesday of last week.
On Tuesday, November 14, the infants were christened at their church in the state’s Abule Egba neighborhood.

But only three days had passed since the couple had celebrated Mubarak’s passing for two years when the baby was born.
While returning from his workshop, the late Mubarak, an apprentice vulcanizer and secondary school student, was shot by a police officer affiliated with the Meiran Police Command. The bullet tore open his stomach, resulting in his instant death.
The incident took place as the police were scattering tricycle riders who were demonstrating against the police killing of their comrade for accepting a N100 bribe.
The mother, who is blind now, informed our correspondent that the twins’ arrival brought the family comfort following the death of their first child.
This was in response to the couple’s claims that they were still looking for justice about the passing of their son.
