In a statement released on Tuesday, the club announced that defender Eder Militão has been diagnosed with a muscle injury in the quadriceps of his left leg. His recovery will be closely monitored during the international break.

“Following tests conducted by Real Madrid Medical Services, Eder Militão has been diagnosed with a muscle injury in the quadriceps of his left leg. His progress will be monitored,” the statement noted.
Militão is expected to be sidelined for ten days, with a return to action anticipated later this month for Carlo Ancelotti’s side.
