The actor recently shared a video of Olayinka Soriyan in which he highlighted that English is overvalued and should not be utilized as a benchmark for determining someone’s success or intellect

– a native language brings more love and unity i keep saying it until yorubas add igbo and hausa languages to their subject and rest do the same that is only when this tribalism cases will reduce . i mean how can a yoruba man still be doing yoruba subject when there are others language in the same country he/she is and dosent understand . go to south africa they have 11 languages and they all mostly understand it and can communicate with it . no matter how rich or exposed they are they won’t speak english to their kids and yet they can even communicate in english more than us .
– In as much as I stand with him that accent shouldn’t be relevant. I can’t do same on English as a whole. We are diversify as a country when it comes to language, the only way we communicate perfectly without region or tribe barriers is English. I once told a friend, even if education seems like a scam to you because all your cousins that are educated are jobless, embrace education for communication sake (English language). I have Lived in 3regions in Nigeria and can’t speak their languages nor understand perfectly till date. English has been my saving grace, Permit me to say we have to shameless borrow this convenient language to communicate in one voice as a Nation.
We can speak our language and be proud of it but we shouldn’t create nuisance in the name of our language..this guy here is simply talking about learning in our mother tongue of-course it will be easier to know our subjects if we learn in our mother tongue but a lot of people will not understand what he is saying they will say that education is not important…bro education is highly important if you can get it in your mother tongue lucky you…don’t come online and start saying cos Ibrahim chatta posted one guy it means we don’t need education…who English help and so on..China has become independent hence they can’t be neglected in the world at general…Nigeria is still a dependent country so we have to adhere to what the world wants before we can also flex our muscles…learn read speak good English…it will help you, you’re not from China, you’re not a Chinese..even the average Nigerians claiming to want to speak their mother tongue does not even know there village, they can’t even tell you one history about their village…be smart

– Bro ibrahim Allah blessings you for this thing.u see this thing called English language some Yoruba people from Nigerian carrying it too much on they head sometimes I use to asking myself why another people language is to to important than to ur own abinibi language….like mine Yoruba from ajase Cotonou who speak French we don’t even used to communicate in French with ourselves in our house except if we go to school and u see that French language, cos we believe that French is not our abinibi language like you guys does in Lagos. In our Yoruba from ajase Cotonou, we believe French and English is for foreigners…especially in UK here if you meet some your Yoruba from Lagos they will started acting like they’re not Yoruba,they should be take it easy mehnn that’s why I too like those Asia people
