Kim Ji-soo, also known by the stage name Jisoo (Korean: ; born January 3, 1995), is a South Korean singer and actress. She is best known for being a part of Blackpink, the top-selling K-pop girl group that YG Entertainment founded in August 2016. She made her acting debut in 2015’s The Producers, where she appeared in a cameo role, and she had her first lead part in the JTBC series Snowdrop (2021–22).

She wanted to be a writer and painter. She loved the Korean boy band TVXQ. Jisoo attended the School of Performing Arts Seoul for her senior year of high school. In her 11th grade, she joined the school’s theater club and participated in auditions to gain more experience in the entertainment business. Jisoo resided with her parents, siblings, and grandparents prior to her debut. Jisoo has acquired knowledge in the languages of Chinese, Japanese, and English in addition to her native Korean.
