Prior to today’s Spanish Super Cup final matchup with Barcelona, January 15, Real Madrid star Karim Benzema has denied having a falling out with Cristiano Ronaldo, who recently reconnected with some of his former colleagues who are currently in Saudi Arabia.

Ronaldo was photographed conversing to Real Madrid teammates, but Benzema was not present, sparking rumors of a possible rift.

Benzema, who told reporters that they don’t need to take photos to indicate they are buddies, refuted the claim.

“We don’t need to take photos to say we’re friends, the photos are for Instagram or Twitter, that’s another world.
