According to Mansir Hassan, the state public relations officer, the district head and two other people were kidnapped by the thugs as they were strolling at a reserve center along the Kujama highway.
According to a security source who talked to our correspondent under anonymity, the incident happened on Sunday night, and the district head was with two other people when the gunmen on motorbikes kidnapped them and held them at gunpoint.
The event took occurred on Sunday evening at approximately seven o’clock in the evening behind Bethel Baptist School.
He claimed, “People in the Anguwar Ayaba community said they watched them being driven into the bush on their (the bandits’) motorcycles.”
