The gifted actress went on to say that everyone who stood in for her bloodline is her family.

Jumoke captioned a photo from the award event, “CITY PEOPLE BEST ACTRESS OF THE YEAR- Yoruba.” Thank you, my loved ones. Family includes not only people who are connected by blood, but also those who are related by lineage… This award is in honor of my dear blood sisters and everyone who cares about me as a family member.

 

Jumoke was named Nollywood Actress of the Year 2020 by Cool Wealth Awards in 2020.

Jumoke is well recognized for her major part in the Yoruba film ‘Ife,’ in which she played an unfaithful lover who used lies to emotionally torture her man.

For her roles in ‘Binta Ofege’ and ‘Somewhere In The Dark,’ the actress won the 2016 AMVCA for best indigenous language film.

She won the same prize in 2017 for her performance in “Somewhere In The Dark.”
