Recall that she was arrested on July 31st, following a complaint filed by Alfa Abdulsalam Baba Tonile Okuta-Agidi and several other Muslim clerics in Kwara state.
After being released on bail a few days ago, Madam Efunsetan visited the Islamic cleric she had defamed and utilized the moment to publicly declare her conversion to Islam, embracing a new faith.

Recall that Madam Efunsetan Abebi Aniwura, also known as Iya Osun, was released from a correctional facility in Ilorin, Kwara State.
The publisher of SaharaReporters and politician, Omoyele Sowore, shared this information via a statement on his Facebook page on Tuesday.
He wrote,” #Freetaniolohun. Iya Osun granted bail in Ilorin, Kwara State. Two sureties with N200,000 affidavit of means. Keep them on their toes for the sake of justice.”
