The late musician IleriOluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad,’s widow, Wunmi Aloba, has said that she has received death threats.

She gave testimony during the coroner’s inquest in the Ikorodu neighborhood of Lagos on Tuesday, November 7.

Omowunmi claimed that she now always wears a face mask when she walks outside as a result of the threats.

Due to past incidents of bullying, psychological harm, and the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency arrest, Mohbad passed away in his room on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, in the afternoon, long before his death was officially declared. This information is reported by his mother.

She said that before the singer died, he had showered and wasn’t feeling well, so he requested that the air conditioner in his room be turned on, but the AC didn’t work, so they rushed him to his son’s room.

Omowunmi stated that she was in the kitchen at the time, and when she returned, she saw the nurse injecting him and heard Mohbad tell the nurse to remove the syringe.

She went on to tell the coroner that they had to rush him to the hospital at that point. He was in the back seat of the car, she said, when the driver said his hands were already cold.
