Abiola Ahmed Akinbiyi, a.k.a. Bella Shmurda, is a Nigerian artist who has asked from Police authorities to hand the body of his late buddy and singer Mohbad.
The “Dangbana” crooner took to his X page late on Saturday, November 18, to voice his displeasure with the protracted holdup in the release of Mohbad’s body—which has been kept for an autopsy for the previous two months.
Remember that Mohbad passed away on September 12th under dubious circumstances? Following his passing, videos of the singer being abused and harassed surfaced.
The investigation into the musician’s death is still ongoing, and the Nigerian Police have exhumed the body for an autopsy. Despite the passage of over a month, the Police have not revealed any new findings from the autopsy that could aid in resolving the case.
However, the father of one took to his timeline as he urged the Police to hasten the process and release the body for a respectful funeral arrangement. Furthermore, Bella Shmurda requested the swift disclosure of the autopsy results.
He wrote, “It’s been over 2 months since Moh died and his body was taken in for autopsy but yet no result, which is fine but please release his body. That boy needs a befitting burial and to go to rest. finally, Naija Police, what’s going on? we need an answer here: where is the result? Where is his body?”
