Nollywood actress Yinka Quadri has become quite popular after receiving harsh criticism for endorsing Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Days ago, it was reported that 62-year-old legendary actor Yinka Quadri had explained why he endorsed Bola Tinubu of the All Progressive Congress (APC) for president.
In a lengthy Instagram post outlining his reasons for backing Tinubu for president in the general elections of 2023, Yinka Quadri claimed that Tinubu could bring Nigeria together and was known as a “excellent manager of resources and a seasoned administrator.”
Bola Tinubu is credited by Yinka Quadri with inspiring a number of actors to enter politics.
I, Alhaji Olayinka Quadri pledge my support for BAT not because I was paid to do so but because of Asiwaju support and influence to all and sundry over the years. Majority of actors who venture into politics today do so because of the influence of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. By God grace, Asiwaju will move from Jagaban of Lagos to Asiwaju of Nigeria. For all your sacrifices, for all your effort, God will reward you this time…. If we look at the rotation of leaders in Nigeria over the years, it is very crystal clear it is Yoruba turn to be president. BAT, Eyin lol kan (you’re the next)”.
The actor and his colleagues were severely dragged on social media.

Speaking out, Yinka Quadri issued a warning to them to shut their mouth up.
According to him, if they do not have knowledge about anything, they should keep their mouth shut.
“If you do not have complete knowledge about anything, better keep your mouth shut. You might think that speaking about something without full knowledge is a trivial matter. But it might have grave consequences”
