Pastor Femi Lazarus has counselled the women in his congregation not to marry a man whose phone they cannot access.
He cautioned against the misconception that avoiding checking their husbands’ phones is necessary for marital peace.
The pastor, based in Ibadan, revealed that despite the distance, his devices in Lagos have WhatsApp installed, and his wife has the freedom to review his chats.

According to him, many spouses should be accountable to themselves and have spiritual fathers or mothers who can call them to order if they go wrong.
