Ayo Balogun a.k.a. Wizkid, a Nigerian pop star, has reacted to Shatta Wale’s criticism of Nigerian musicians.
Shatta Wale, who recently sold out Ghana’s largest stadium at a concert, told his fans that he didn’t need any Nigerian musicians to fill stadiums in Ghana.
“They said I won’t be able to fill my own stadiums, I don’t need any Nigerian artiste to sell out Ghana’s stadium, f..k Nigerian artistes”.

Nigerian entertainers such as DJ Big N, Yul Edochie, Akpororo, and others have reacted angrily to his statement.
Reacting to the development at a recent event, the ‘Essence’ crooner said: “I have a message for you tonight, me I don’t care if you are black, white, blue or purple. I will show you the same love I show my brother and my sister. I want you guys to understand something, it is one Africa. We move together in numbers. It is one Africa every day .Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya we are all the same people”.
Wizkid recently stated that his colleague, Wande Coal housed him when he had nowhere to live.
“Wizkid made this known during the Flytime music festival in Lagos on Tuesday night, where he was the headline artist.
After an energetic performance with Wande Coal on stage, Wizkid asked his fans to celebrate the Bumper to Bumper crooner for inspiring him.
“That’s the man that inspired me. You all should make some noise for Wande Coal, “ Wizkid said.
