Reno Omokri, a well-known Nigerian lawyer and former Presidential adviser, has counseled men to be in command of their houses in all aspects.
According to Reno, God has given man the task of “doing the work,” and the woman was intended to assist him.

God commanded Adam, the man, to do the labor on Earth (Genesis 2:15). Genesis 2:20 says that God created Eve to assist him. God did not create Eve to help Adam with his duties.
HELPERS, not WORK HORSES, are what women were made to be. As a result, the male is responsible for all tasks, including cooking, cleaning, dishwashing, grocery buying, and, most crucially, child rearing.
The woman’s role is to HELP the man, not to take his position as the person entrusted with doing the work by God. It is not macho to leave all of the labor to your wife. It is disobedience to God’s plain command!’
