Following the triumph over Madrid, Paris FC currently holds the third position with three points from three games, while Madrid occupies the bottom spot with one point, also from the same number of matches. Hacken leads the group with seven points, and Chelsea is in second place with five points.
In a separate achievement on Monday, Nnadozie was crowned the 2023 CAF Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year in Marrakech, Morocco. Her Super Falcons teammate, Asisat Oshoala, secured her sixth CAF Women’s Player of the Year award, extending her record. The night’s star at the awards ceremony was Victor Osimhen, who became the first Super Eagles player since Nwankwo Kanu in 1999 to be named CAF Player of the Year.
