Nine people, six of whom were men and three of whom were women, nearly died on Sunday when their cars crashed on the Orile-Imo stretch of the Abeokuta-Sagamu Expressway.

PUNK According to Metro, the collision caused the Mitsubishi bus to topple over and the Toyota automobile to skid off the highway. The cars involved were a Toyota car and a Mitsubishi bus.

An eyewitness who agreed to speak with our correspondent under anonymity stated that the vehicles’ excessive speed caused the incident.

According to the source, “I observed that the cars were traveling at a high speed when one of them lost control and struck the other.” A few minutes after it occurred, I arrived.

Florence Okpe, a spokesman for the Federal Road Safety Corps’ Ogun State Command, verified the collision to our correspondent over the phone.

She said that the drivers’ excessive speeding was what caused the collision.

“I can confirm that the collision occurred along the Abeokuta-Sagamu Expressway’s Orile-Imo section. Nine peopleโ€”six men and three womenโ€”were involved, but none of them died. The three women who were hurt were transferred to the Idera Hospital in Sagaamu.

A Mitsubishi bus and a Toyota automobile were involved in the collision. Driving too fast and in an unsafe manner is what caused the collision.

We haven’t stopped highlighting how important it is for drivers to drive sensibly. There will be a lot of cars on the road throughout this holiday season, with increased vehicular traffic. According to Okpe, drivers need to make sure they stay under the posted speed limit.
