An official of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, known only as Agama, was shot and killed by gunmen who are believed to be vandals at Idimu in the Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos State.
PUNK Metro learned that the incident occurred on Saturday, January 27 at approximately 8 p.m.
A car followed and trapped Agama as he was leaving work on Oladun Road. Agama was one of the NSCDC officers guarding the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited pipeline in the neighborhood.

During that process, he was allegedly shot at by some unidentified males who got out of the automobile.
Our correspondent was informed by an eyewitness that the gunmen made sure the NSCDC official hit the ground before they left the area.
Because the incident was so delicate, the eyewitness, who yearned for anonymity, stated, “He was riding his motorcycle when a white Mercedez Benz suddenly blocked him.” He was shot in the stomach by a group of men who got out of the automobile. They performed the trick, then began shooting into the air to frighten others away before leaving.
According to him, the incident sent people running for cover while nearby business owners shuttered their doors.
It was discovered that the victim’s coworkers were informed about the attack right away.
When word spread that the victim was one of the NSCDC officers, more officials began to show up at the scene. The eyewitness said, “They hurried the older one to the hospital, where they confirmed his death as soon as he arrived.
According to a community source, the deceased was a dedicated official who kept an eye out for vandals’ actions nearby.
“Agama had always opposed bunkering in the area,” the source claimed. He upholds the moral standards of his position as an NSCDC representative. It’s what people recognize him for.
Calls to DSC Abolurin Oluwaseun, the state NSCDC spokesperson, went unanswered, rendering him unavailable. He had not responded to a text message that was sent to him.
