A car incident on the Kaduna-Abuja Expressway resulted in four fatalities and 56 injuries, according to the Federal Road Safety Corps, Kaduna Sector Command.
The News Agency of Nigeria in Kaduna was informed by the Sector Commander, Mr. Kabir Nadabo, that the traffic accident happened on Tuesday near Sabon Sara village along the expressway.
According to Nadabo, the terrible accident happened at around 3:30 a.m. and included an Iveco trailer with the registration number MKA 99YS.

He said, “The rescue was carried out by the combined rescue teams of RS1.113 Zhipe and RS1.17 Birnin Yero.”
He claims that the preliminary inquiry found that weariness and the overcrowding of both cargo and people were the crash’s causes.
“Further investigation of the incident shows that 73 people were involved in the crash, 59 of them sustained injuries, and sadly, four of them lost their lives,” Nadabo stated.
He claimed that the injured had been sent to the Kakuri-based St. Gerard and AP Smart Hospitals.
“As you all know, the Yuletide season is the most traveled period of the year, thus the frequent road traffic crashes experienced,” Nadabo said in elaborating on the FRSC’s continued urge for drivers to abide by all traffic laws.
He assured the public that every effort was being made by the corps to reduce the risk of collisions and preserve lives and property.
