I didn’t get the texts or calls that I usually wake up to, no early morning birthday prayer sessions, I didn’t get the happy feeling of how you used to remind everybody of it too.
I’m not sure how to be without you, Mom. I’m not sure what to do. Everything I thought was important was only important to you. Reaching milestones without you will be the hardest part of it too. I miss you, Mom. Funmi misses you. And honestly, I don’t know how to explain to her that you’re not coming back, so please watch over her wherever you are. We love you, Mom…”

Renowned Nollywood actress, Sidikat Odukanwi, popularly known as Iyabo Oko, has passed away.
The accomplished Yoruba actress breathed her last on the evening of Wednesday, June 29th, 2023.
It has been revealed that Iyabo Oko had been grappling with poor health for an extended period, which tragically resulted in her untimely demise.
