Sunday Adeyemo, also known as “Sunday Igboho,” a well-known agitator for the Yoruba people, recently confessed that he was grateful to be alive and thanked his admirers and lovers for celebrating his birthday with him.
The well-known sociocultural activist thanked those who thought it appropriate to honour him on his birthday. He celebrated his 50th birthday yesterday and was joined by millions of Nigerians in doing so online.
Their kind act, according to him, made the day even more memorable. The amount of love he claimed to have received from others actually made him feel blessed.

He wrote, “I am truly blessed to have, so many reach out with birthday wishes. Your thoughtfulness was so heartwarming and truly made the day that much special! I’m glad to be alive, lots of love to you all”.
Remember that Sunday Igboho fled from Nigeria to the Benin Republic while protesting for the Yoruba nation after some Nigerian security agents broke into his home to arrest him. He was eventually held for several months before being freed earlier this year, according to the administration of the Benin Republic, who said he had broken the law.
