The number of people killed in the building collapse in Ikoyi, Lagos state, has risen to 43.
Gbenga Omotoso, the Lagos State commissioner for communications and strategy, reported the recovery of another body in a statement made on Sunday, November 7.
His statement read;

โOne more body has been recovered from the site of the collapsed 21-storey building in Ikoyi, Lagos.
โThe body, which was recovered on Saturday, has brought the number of bodies retrieved from the rubble to 43.
โThere are 15 survivors and 49 persons have reported that their loved ones are missing.
โAt the Infectious Disease Hospital (IDH), Yaba, the identification of bodies continues.
โGovernor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, once again, commiserates with the families of those who died in the incident.โ
