Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the former Swedish forward, has disclosed the reason behind his decision not to sign with Arsenal as a young player.
Ibrahimovic, whose illustrious career included stints at clubs like Ajax, Juventus, Inter Milan, AC Milan, Manchester United, and PSG, announced his retirement earlier this summer, primarily due to knee problems. During an interview with Piers Morgan, he shed light on Arsenal’s interest in him.
In his conversation on Piers Morgan Uncensored, he stated, “Wenger extended an invitation to me, but I declined Arsenal. I don’t do trials.”

In a previous interview with Sky Sports Italia, he recounted the story, saying, “I went to London to meet with Wenger, who proposed that I try out for the Gunners.”
He went on to clarify his response, saying, “I told him, ‘I will not participate in a trial. It’s either you take me or not; I’m not here to waste time.
