The Nollywood actor and film producer Kunle Afod’s wife, Desola Afod, has shared insights into her life as a celebrity spouse.
The actress acknowledged that her marriage to her husband hasn’t always been simple during their weekend celebration of his 50th birthday.
If someone is being honest, she claims that marrying a celebrity—especially one in the theater—is not simple.
She has, however, promised to face whatever comes her way and never divorce her spouse, who is also the father of her children.
She was grateful that he accepted her for who she was, loved her in spite of her imperfections, and let her be herself.
“My marriage to Kunle Afod hasn’t been easy. Marrying someone in Theaters, except you are lying isn’t easy. But I had vowed never to divorce him and would endure whatever comes in it. There is something people don’t know about my husband, he doesn’t like Wahala.
Afod allowed me to be me, a man who allows his woman to do what she likes is a real man. Thank you for all you do for me, for tolerating me, for allowing me to be me. I love you so much”.
