Etinosa Idemudia, a Nollywood actress, has expressed her thoughts on the persistent problem of domestic abuse that plagues most marriages and ultimately results in the death of the woman.
Etinosa, who experienced domestic violence in her marriage at a young age, made the argument that low self-esteem, not lack of money, is what is killing young ladies in a long and persuasive post on her Instagram stories. She continued by saying that a mother’s words to her daughter form the foundation of the values the child develops.
Etinosa claimed that if she hadn’t struggled up, she would have passed away in 2014. According to her, women enter marriages sane but have mental health problems when their husbands announce to the world that they are their “wives” in public.
