Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has hinted that the Yoruba Nollywood industry is not profitable.
This comes after she had a squabble with the stakeholders of the Theatre Arts and Motion Picture Practitioners’ Association of Nigeria after a verbal spat with some of its members a few months ago.
Nkechi Blessing has avoided appearing in Yoruba films after the event and is frequently spotted with other English Nollywood stars.

Nkechi Blessing took to Instagram to share a photo of herself and a movie director at a location, expressing her delight at following his instructions.

“Now meet my Director on this one, the creative one,” she wrote. It’s strange to be under your orders for the past few days. You have nothing to worry about, Sabi @realchidichijioke. **Wait for Deeper Than Love**, fam.
A fan of Nkechi Blessing reacted to this by asking why she isn’t in Yoruba films, adding that people must return to their roots at some point in their lives.

Nkechi Blessing, in response to the fan, stated that there is no money in Yoruba movies and that she goes where there is money.
