In a recent remark, well-known Nigerian singer-songwriter Stanley Omah Didia, better known by his stage name Omah Lay, said that he has no religious beliefs.

Omah Lay, a native of Rivers State, revealed in the interview that although he attended church frequently and was raised in a Christian home, he no longer enjoys religion and now only believes in God.

The “Soso” crooner, Omah Lay, who is well-known for his poignant and sad songs, claimed that he was considering becoming an Islamist, but he insisted that at this time, religion is only a matter between him and God.

Speaking further, Omah Lay said that the problem is that he really doesn’t know anything even though he believes there is Jesus and Allah.

Omah Lay stated that these books that include, Bible and Quran he really believes in them but there is no evidence that it was written by God or his servants.

The singer however concluded that the only evidence he has is that there is God moving him, controlling him, and therefore he believes only in God and no religion at the moment.
