Mohbad’s father has made additional surprising statements, indicating his intense disapproval of his daughter-in-law, Wunmi.
According to reports, the deceased musician’s father accused Wunmi of using black magic to manipulate his son until his passing.
Today, he alleged that Wunmi’s intentions were primarily focused on having him cater to her and her family’s needs, including purchasing properties in her name, which subsequently led Mohbad to neglect his own father.

He accused the late singer’s wife of allegedly drugging Mohbad’s food with sleeping pills whenever she intended to engage in infidelity, involving her partners whom he claimed were inhabitants of the Marlian household.
He confirmed that the couple had a traditional marriage, with his family paying dowry for Wunmi. Regarding the white cloth thrown into Mohbad’s grave, he explained that it symbolized her covering him, signifying that Mohbad could no longer reveal her actions.
Mohbad’s father recounted how he used to have his father-in-law’s contact and would occasionally call him to discuss matters between the couple. However, when he raised concerns about Mohbad’s reluctance to support him due to Wunmi, her father reportedly blocked his calls.
