Owodunni Ibrahim, also known as Primeboy, has handed himself in to the police, which is a crucial development in the investigation into the terrible death of Ilorioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad.

After Primeboy failed to accept their invitation, the Lagos State Police Command issued a wanted notice for him.

As part of their ongoing inquiry into the circumstances leading up to Mohbad’s unfortunate death, the police had called Primeboy. Benjamin Hundeyin, the Lagos Police Public Relations Officer, released a statement confirming the development.

The statement released yesterday had described Primeboy as a male individual approximately 1.64 meters tall, with a dark complexion, tribal marks, and of Yoruba ethnicity. His last known address was 3rd Power, Oke Eletu, Ikorodu. The statement also provided a contact number for anyone with information about his whereabouts to reach out to the police.

Notably, the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Idowu Owohunwa, announced a reward of N1,000,000 for anyone who could assist in locating Primeboy. This incentive underscored the seriousness of the investigation and the authorities’ determination to bring clarity to the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death.

It appears that Primeboy, who is not only a close friend of Mohbad but also a childhood friend, took it upon himself to come forward to the police. He had played a significant role in confirming Mohbad’s tragic passing.

On the evening of September 12th, Primeboy had shared a video showing Mohbad’s lifeless form in the backseat of a car. With tears streaming down his face, he had uttered the heartbreaking words, “Mohbad is dead,” marking the initial confirmation of the artist’s demise.

After the video, he had disappeared from the spotlight. His disappearance spoke volumes even in the midst of rising controversies. This led people to question his whereabouts. Their was also an agitation for him to help in the investigation process since he was one of the last people seen with Mohbad.
