Sophia Momodu, the mother of singer Davido’s first child, has sparked a buzz on the internet with her announcement of changing her daughter’s surname from Adeleke to Momodu.
On her Snapchat account, Sophia expressed her eagerness to modify her daughter’s last name to Momodu, distancing her from the Adeleke name.
Drawing inspiration from Tonto Dikeh, Sophia proclaimed herself as both a father and a mother to her daughter, Imade.

By making this statement, the fashion enthusiast implies that Davido has been negligent in his responsibilities as a father.
“Can’t wait to change her last name… I still think Momodu is 👌 as I’m Mom and Dad”.
Sophia Momodu speaks on the financial abuse of women
Recall that last month, Sophia Momodu had hinted that all wasn’t well between her and Davido.
The niece of Dele Momodu had gone on an extensive rant about the financial abuse of women.
The mother of one stated that financially bullying a woman into staying with you has got to be the most disgusting thing a man can do.
In a series of posts on her Twitter page, Sophia Momodu bemoaned the Nigerian system which she claimed doesn’t have laws that protect women and children.
She questioned why a man would make a woman take on his responsibilities because she chooses to move on and never look back.
However, Sophia in her lengthy write-up did not refer to anyone. But many assumed she was referring to Davido.
Reacting to it, Davido took to his Twitter page to share a screenshot of him doing his “unavailable” dance while adding that he’s got no time for “wahala”.

No vex”.
Hitting back at him on her Snapchat page, Sophia Momodu warned him not to dare her.
The mother of one vowed to spill the teas if he continues to provoke her.
“Don’t you dare 🧢 or imma set it on all 🔥”.
