It all started when Toyin Abraham made a post announcing that she will be giving food and 5k transportation to 50 people each Friday on Twitter. She said:
TOYIN ABRAHAM: My friends @Smallyfares and I will be giving out food and I will also give 5k each for transportation to first 50 people every Friday. Pls kindly check the above flier for more details👏❤️
In response, someone quoted her post making gest of it saying “5k transport 😂😂😂”
In response to the mockery from not only this person but others that also said 5k would do nothing in this economy, Toyin Abraham responded saying:
TOYIN ABRAHAM: Yes 5k tfare from my pocket with food stuff to support people. Same way people support me by watching my movie with 3k, 5k so I need to give back aswell.
I have being doing and this will be everyday Friday, this is what I can afford dear. I am not a billionaire I’m struggling too
Still, the bashings didn’t stop. People accused her of doing the giveaway for damage control, and kept bashing her and her antics while also insulting her. That’s when Toyin Abraham seemingly had enough and said:
TOYIN ABRAHAM: This is no more complain but bullying to me please, years ago when I supported Jonathan and everyone supported buhari I was abused and bullied but after the whole thing I never came out to accused anyone or blame anyone. What is all this about cos of my choice of candidate, I get bullied everyday and still kept mute over it. I get cursed out everytime over what?
