After goals from Mohamed Salah and Harvey Elliott secured the win for Liverpool, Owen praised Alisson’s standout display, stating, “This is why Alisson is, in my opinion, the best in the world.” He acknowledged Alisson’s excellence, emphasizing a crucial save that showcased pure world-class goalkeeping. Owen concluded, “Yes, he gets some help from the post. But it is a world-class save – pure world-class – and Alisson is brilliant.”
Alisson Becker has been Liverpool’s first-choice goalkeeper for several years, having joined Jurgen Klopp’s side from AS Roma in 2018.
