Michael Owen, the former Liverpool striker, has declared Alisson Becker as the current best goalkeeper in the world. Owen made this statement following Becker’s impressive performance in Liverpool’s comeback 2-1 victory against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

After goals from Mohamed Salah and Harvey Elliott secured the win for Liverpool, Owen praised Alisson’s standout display, stating, “This is why Alisson is, in my opinion, the best in the world.” He acknowledged Alisson’s excellence, emphasizing a crucial save that showcased pure world-class goalkeeping.
