The well-known actor Sunkanmi, who is the son of Sunday Omoblanle, has talked about how his stepmother Peju Ogunmola convinced his father to let him follow his ambition of being an actor in the movie business instead of enlisting in the army.
Sunkanmi revealed recently on BON BOX Office on WFM 97.1 that his father had urged him to join the military when he was a child.
He had attended the Nigerian Military School in Zaria, Kaduna State, to do this. Before going to Olabisi Onabanjo University in Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, this was done. But Peju, his stepmother, stepped in and persuaded his first reticent father to let him pursue an acting career.
