Tragedy struck as a young, promising Nigerian footballer from Delta State has passed away.
According to reports from Newsmen, the defender, whose identity has been withheld, was training at a football pitch for Winners FC Agbor when he suddenly collapsed and tragically lost his life.
Despite the efforts of his teammates to revive him on the pitch, their attempts were unsuccessful, and he was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.

The news of his untimely death has sent shockwaves through the sporting community in Ika South LGA of Delta State.
The deceased, who also played for KG Sports Agbor from 2019 to 2022, was described by an eyewitness as standing alone in defense when he collapsed without any apparent contact from another player.
Confirming the incident, SP Bright Edafe, the spokesperson for the Delta State Police Command, expressed condolences but refrained from providing further details about the tragic event.
