After publicly apologizing to him, Fancy Acholonu, the actor Alex Ekubo’s ex-fiance, has now disclosed the reasons behind their breakup.
Stella Dimoko Korkus, a well-known blogger, granted Fancy an exclusive interview in which she discussed their broken engagement.
She disclosed that the actor, whose sexual orientation has drawn attention, had advised her to have intimate relations with other guys while they were dating.

This, for her, was the breaking point in their relationship since she had put up with his narcissism, lying, infidelity, and gaslighting.
Fancy admitted that after becoming engaged, their relationship deteriorated rapidly.
She explained that he bacame more controlling and verbally abusive and that they argued so much to the point of it almost getting physical.
Fancy Acholonu finally reveals reason for their breakup
“Alexx is extremely narcissistic. The charming personality he shows to everyone was not who he was to me. Behind those smiles of our happy photos he was always lying, cheating, and gaslighting me. The day after we got engaged, it became worse. He then became more controlling, and verbally abusive. We argued so much and it was close to becoming physical, I was scared of his rage. I told my sister and documented for record sake in case anything happened”.
One major red flag that made me devastated was that he told me he won’t sleep with me but I should go and sleep with other men. Imagine telling that to your fiancée that has kept herself for you for 5 years. At that moment I realised he didn’t truly love me. It started going downhill from there. Emotional abuse.”
Addressing his sister’s accusations, Fancy stated that she had sex with Alex in January, this year, after he begged to see her. Though, shocked that he wanted them to get intimate, Fancy succumbed to his demands as she still had feelings for him.
