Islamic cleric Jaqmal has responded to a video interview in which veteran actor Charles Olumo, commonly known as Baba Agbako, asserted that he is the biological father of the renowned Fuji musician Pasuma.

In a public lecture addressing these claims, Jaqmal shared his perspective on the issue and emphasized the potential complexities that can arise when an individual attains fame and recognition.

Jaqmal expressed concerns about the credibility of the claims made by Baba Agbako, citing the advanced age of the individual in question as a potential factor to consider.

Jaqmal pointed out that interviewing elderly individuals, especially those over 100 years old, can sometimes lead to delusional statements, as their cognitive faculties may not function as accurately as they did in their youth.

He Said: “I watched a video in which a man (Agbako) was interviewed, claiming to be the father of Pasuma. This man has kept silent for all these years and now says he’s the one who impregnated Pasuma’s mother.

Jaqmal pondered the motivation behind Baba Agbako’s decision to speak out, suggesting that one reason might be the emergence of challenges for Pasuma, which can be a common occurrence when someone becomes famous.

Jaqmal expressed his opinion about the situation, mentioning that the individual who claimed Pasuma as his son is quite old. He suggested that the responsibility may lie with the interviewer, as interviewing elderly individuals, especially those over 100 years old, can potentially lead to delusional statements due to potential cognitive issues.
