Harry Maguire acknowledges that the England squad is convinced that the timing is perfect for them to secure a trophy as they gear up for Euro 2024 in Germany this summer.

Maguire attributes much of England’s success to manager Gareth Southgate, emphasizing his role in fostering a cohesive team environment that brings out the best in players.

“He focused on the little details, understanding the importance of team cohesion, and ensuring everyone enjoyed the camps and felt motivated to represent their country – which is how it should be,” Maguire shared with Sky Sports News.
“This is an exciting time to be an England player; we sense that we are in a positive moment, and I am eagerly anticipating the tournament – we are determined to emerge victorious.”
Reflecting on the significance of winning the tournament, Maguire expressed, “[Winning] would mean absolutely everything. It has been a long time since we lifted a trophy, although we have come close.”
