Prior to his flight to Qatar on November 15 with the England team, Kane acknowledged that if Tottenham had been demoted to the Europa League, he would have experienced a “huge sting.” However, Three Lions captain Kane claims it should act as a warning and that no major player will even consider taking it easy to make sure they arrive to the World Cup in top form.

In an effort to get back into the title race, Tottenham must play Liverpool on Sunday. They also have games against Nottingham Forest in the Carabao Cup and Leeds in the Premier League. There have been worries that players will want to conserve themselves for the World Cup in the final few games, but Kane claims it has never crossed his mind.

I’ve said it before, you try not to worry about it, the Tottenham striker remarked. I predicted that the World Cup would approach very rapidly, and that has already happened. Already in November, we won’t waste any time getting on a plane and playing the first game.

“I believe that many players have this in the back of their thoughts, but I also believe that the best players always manage to give their all. Sometimes trying to manage oneself more and more makes things worse. Therefore, I’m simply trying to concentrate on the next three games for myself.

It’s difficult to avoid thinking about it, but if we can get three wins, we’ll be in a great position going into the World Cup.

Spurs advanced to the knockout rounds of the Champions League under Kane’s leadership after escaping a serious scare and dramatic events in Marseille.

The night before the game, the French club’s fervent supporters set off two sets of fireworks outside of Spurs’ hotel in the early hours in an attempt to disrupt the visitors’ preparations. However, the shady tactics failed.

Kane also emphasized that it was crucial for him and the other Tottenham players to not leave for Qatar in a fortnight feeling extremely disappointed.

“It was incredibly crucial right before the World Cup,” he continued. You know you’re coming off the World Cup and playing Europa League, and it’s simply not the same feeling, so if we had lost, it would have hurt awfully. So, that was extremely important.

We have three games left before the World Cup, so hopefully we can finish strong tonight. If we can finish in the top four in the Premier League and advance in the Carabao Cup, it will be a great start to the season.

After being demoted to the Europa League, Tottenham moved up to second place with a draw, and finally took first place after Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg scored the game’s final goal to secure it. Tottenham thus earned the title of group winners. As a result, Tottenham might have a significant edge over other teams in the Champions League, such as Club Brugge, Inter Milan, or AC Milan.

In Marseille, they had to pass a difficult test that included Conte being sent to the stands due to his one-game touchline suspension as well as the pregame fireworks. “We anticipated it, we were told the fireworks might happen,” Kane added.

On the first lot, I was awake, but happily, I was sound asleep on the second lot. With one of the stands closed as well, we knew the atmosphere would be exceptional because of their amazing fans.

They are working tirelessly to ensure the success of their team, so credit to them. I’m really proud of the guys because we had to find a solution between the players and staff because it was such a hostile environment when we arrived.

In the second half, we shown outstanding spirit and passion. We’ve been more of a second half club, and that’s kind of been the story of our season thus far.

“At halftime, a few individuals mentioned that we needed to be more aggressive and intense, and I believe we did that when we came out in the second half. We scored the goal at the perfect time, and we then had other chances to end the game. They had a few as well, but it was the cherry on top and a really significant goal to come in first to see that one go in in the end.
