The well-known Nigerian music producer and blogger Samklef reversed course and congratulated the Grammy Award-winning singer Davido on his nominations.
This came after days of online criticism of Davido. On Friday, November 10, the Recording Academy announced the nominees, and the “unavailable” crooner received three nominations: “Feel,” a song from the Best Global Music Performance album; “Unavailable,” a song from the Timeless album for the Best African Performance; and “Timeless,” his fourth studio album was nominated for Best Global Album.
With the artist receiving his first nomination, Samklef publicly congratulated Davido via his Instagram page.
He pledged to pray for the singer’s success in securing the three awards, strongly emphasizing his belief that Davido will secure at least one win.

Additionally, he appreciated Davido’s ability to stand on his own, highlighting that it’s a trait they both share.
“This post is a special post for Davido only! As you don get 3 nominations I go dey pray for u make you win the 3. U must win something sha. And I also like the fact that u no send anybody. Me and you have something in common. Congratulations once more”.
