The governor of Bauchi state, Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, has conveyed gratitude for the noteworthy advancements achieved by the Nigerian Governors’ Wives’ Forum in tackling diverse social issues by enabling women and advocating for policies that are gender-neutral.

When the Nigerian Governors’ Wives Forum executives and members paid him a courtesy call at Government House in Bauchi on Tuesday, during their two-day quarterly meeting that began in the state capital, he made this statement.

The governor, who was accompanied by his deputy, Hon. Muhammad Auwal Jatau, stated that many people’s lives have been improved by the forum’s efforts, particularly those of women, children, and vulnerable populations.

Governor Bala stated that the forum has had a positive impact on education, healthcare, skill development programs, and projects aimed at economic empowerment. He claimed that the forum is a true example of what it means to be of “service to humanity.”

According to him, the Forum is a great forum for exchanging ideas that will influence government policies and initiatives aimed at empowering women nationwide and attaining gender equality.

Governor Bala Mohammed emphasized the importance of utilizing the platform to create networks and enduring partnerships that will address the social, political, and economic obstacles that women face.
